Model Description

This is a strong, practical replacement door knob designed for 3D printing and everyday use.
It fits a standard 7.5 mm square spindle shaft, making it compatible with many common interior and exterior door latch mechanisms that use a square-through shaft with a knob on each side of the door.

The knob features a solid, rounded grip that is comfortable to hold and easy to turn, even with limited hand strength. The internal shaft interface is designed for a tight, secure fit, reducing wobble and improving durability compared to thin or decorative prints.

The model is intended as a functional replacement for broken or missing door knobs, especially where strength and reliability are more important than decorative appearance.

Design Concept

This design addresses that by:

- Keeping the geometry simple for reliable prints across different printers

The rounded shape distributes force evenly when turning the knob, reducing stress concentrations and improving longevity. The design also avoids complex internal mechanisms, making it ideal for PLA+, PETG, ABS, or Nylon depending on the required strength and temperature resistance.

This model is especially useful for:
