50mm Blast Gate for Ventilation (2" Vacuum Pipe Compatible)

This is a compact 50mm blast gate designed for ventilation systems using standard 2-inch built-in vacuum piping.

Blast gates are useful for controlling airflow in ducting systems, allowing you to easily open or close airflow to specific branches of your ventilation setup. This can help improve airflow efficiency and prevent unwanted drafts when certain sections are not in use.

The design interfaces with standard 2-inch built-in vacuum pipe, which is inexpensive, lightweight, and widely available at most big box hardware stores. This makes it easy to integrate into existing ventilation systems.

The sliding gate allows you to quickly adjust or completely shut off airflow, while the printed housing keeps the mechanism aligned and operating smoothly.

Assembly is required but straightforward, using simple printed parts.

For smoother operation of the sliding gate, printing with 0.2mm layer height or finer is recommended.

Assembly:
Insert the blast gate slide into the main body so it can move freely within the guide channel.
Once installed, the gate can be slid open to allow airflow or closed to block the duct, giving you simple manual control of your ventilation system.

Designed to fit standard 2-inch built-in vacuum piping (approximately 50mm).
Fit may vary slightly depending on printer tolerances and material used.
If the slide feels tight, light sanding may improve movement.
