Model Description

This model is a custom-designed holder for a standard 7-pin trailer plug, intended to securely store the plug when the trailer is not connected to a vehicle. The cover protects the electrical pins from dust, dirt, moisture, and insect nesting.

The plug fits snugly into the holder, keeping the pins clean, and preventing them from dragging on the ground or being exposed to the elements. This helps extend the life of the trailer wiring and ensures reliable electrical contact when reconnecting the trailer..

Design Concept

Trailer plugs are often left hanging or resting on the trailer frame when not in use, which allows dirt buildup, corrosion, and insects to nest inside the pin cavities. This model was designed to solve that problem with a simple, secure docking solution that holds the 7-pin plug safely in place.
