Design Concept

This model showcases a cozy Christmas ornament featuring a hollow spherical shell with a cute polar bear inside. The bear is designed with smooth rounded shapes, a friendly expression, and a winter scarf that adds warmth and character to the scene. The sphere’s small perforations allow soft ambient light to shine through, creating a gentle winter glow perfect for holiday decoration.

Print Settings (Hi Combo)

Hi Combo printer; approx. 3–5h print time depending on scale; 0.16 mm layer height; 10–20% infill; PLA material.

Sphere prints smoothly with minimal supports; supports only recommended on the inner base if needed.

Use 3–4 walls for improved strength and durability when hanging.

Slow perimeter speed enhances the roundness of the sphere and the clean finish on the polar bear figure.

Z-seam positioned on the back of the ornament for a cleaner viewing angle from the front.

Optional: print the bear separately in white PLA with brown filament for the scarf for a more vibrant finish.

Assembly

If printed separately (sphere + polar bear), glue the bear onto the snow-like inner base using CA glue.

Attach a string or cord through the star-shaped hook at the top for hanging.

If printed as a single integrated model, no assembly is required.

Concepto de Diseño

Este modelo es un adorno navideño formado por una esfera hueca con un tierno osito polar en su interior. El oso está diseñado con formas redondeadas suaves, una expresión amigable y una bufanda invernal que aporta calidez y carácter a la escena. Las pequeñas perforaciones de la esfera permiten que la luz pase suavemente, creando un brillo invernal perfecto para la decoración navideña.

Ajustes de Impresión (Hi Combo)

Impresora Hi Combo; tiempo aproximado 3–5 horas según la escala; altura de capa 0.16 mm; relleno 10–20%; material PLA.

La esfera se imprime fácilmente con muy pocos soportes; solo se recomiendan en la base interior si es necesario.

Usar 3–4 paredes para mejorar la resistencia y estabilidad al colgar.

Velocidad lenta en perímetros para lograr una superficie redondeada más suave y un acabado limpio en la figura del oso.

Z-seam orientado hacia la parte trasera del adorno para una vista frontal más limpia.

Opcional: imprimir el osito por separado en PLA blanco con detalles en café para la bufanda para un acabado más llamativo.

Ensamblaje

Si el modelo se imprime por separado (esfera + oso), pegar el osito sobre la base interior con textura de nieve usando pegamento CA.

Añadir un hilo o cordón en el gancho superior con forma de estrella para colgar.

Si se imprime como una sola pieza, no requiere ensamblaje.
