This project is designed as an educational STEM kit that explores several key areas of modern electronics and programming:
IoT & Web Servers: Discover how to host a functional web portal directly on an ESP32 microcontroller to control hardware wirelessly
Infrared Communication: Learn the physics of IR signals, including protocols, hex addresses, and how binary data is transmitted through light.
Data Persistence: Understand how "Preferences" work in Arduino to save user data (like remote button names) into the permanent flash memory.
Human-Machine Interface (HMI): Practice integrating physical tactile buttons with a digital interface for a hybrid control experience.
The enclosure is optimized for 3D printing with a focus on directional signal ergonomics, featuring a protective shroud for the IR emitter to prevent signal bleed.

Connection:
Microcontroller: ESP32 (DevKit V1)
IR Receiver: Connected to pin GPIO 13.
IR Transmitter: Connected to pin GPIO 14.
Scanning Button: Connected to pin GPIO 26.
Master Button: Connected to pin GPIO 27. *
Mode LED: Indicator connected to pin GPIO 12.
