The CoPrint Chromahead multi colour system comes up a bit short in its fittings to hold the extruders I thought, so I had a go at improving it slightly. See my first attempt here (https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/67fa2c0995d0713596e7238f?source=22)

However, that also did not satisfy me, especially for the 8 colour system - there is just too much hanging on the gantry in an ungainly way and over time it just starts sagging more and more. The old version also requires users to have bought their system from Creality with whatever came in that package. Using the carriage here (https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/680fcbfebf737a7e52a665ae?source=5) and here (https://www. --printable-s---.com/model/1301970-chromahead-ender-3-v3-carriage-slightly-rounded-ba) which allows you to utilize (recover) the full 300x300 print bed size again, ends up with the PTFE tubes and 8-tube head moving up very close to the edge of the gantry and knocks and moves the standard fittings. This solution solves that problem.

Another issue with the standard fittings are that you need to remove your Creality light bar if you have one (or at least find some alternate way to fit it)

This is my latest attempt to improve things a bit. It is now a completely stand alone solution where you can print everything you need (as long as you have the actual electronics/motors etc. of course :-) ).

The unit on top of the gantry can be printed in one piece as long as you have a large print bed. I printed mine on my Kobra 2 Max's 420x420 area but sliced it in two in the included 3mf file. Since the bottom extruder block can be screwed onto the platform having 2 pieces should not be an issue. I added felt pads between the gantry and the top unit as I did not want to make the fit too tight, which is difficult anyway with the rounded gantry top. I did not go too far down as I have the Creality light bar.

Fit the extruder units to the extruder blocks as a first step - only attach to the top gantry bar afterwards, then attach the left and right supports to the gantry bar. Add the feet for the supports to the printer rear feet. Now keep at least one support pillar ready and add the gantry bar to the top , adding the support pillar as you do it. Then fit the other pillar and attach all the cables and tubes.

You'll need up to 10 M3 screws depending on what parts you use and how you want to join them together.

The 3mf file has the necessary support settings and includes multicolour slicing to add numbers for each extruder. I have gone with numbers 1 to 8 like you would see in a slicer, rather than the 0 to 7 as you see for the extruders and motors but it should be easy to change if you prefer something else.

Supports are only required for the ECM box grips and the back support pillars. You can also use wood or metal rods instead of printing the support pillars - diameter of 16 mm should be a good fit. I don't know the long term effects of usage on the plastic pillars although they don't have to hold too much weight - they are more of a balancing support as the weight is more towards the front on the gantry but they are necessary.

**NOTE**

1. Feet: The model fitting around the back rubber feet of the printer might be too high for some printers. I made them slightly lower on July 24. Please check that you retain good grip on the rubber feet if they are important in your setup.

2. Support Pillars: If you don't like the height of the pillars simply lengthen or shorten one or both of them in only the length wise direction in the slicer so suit your needs.
