I upgraded my little Intex 3300gallons pool from their barely making it pump to a 0.55 HP and kept the filter of a larger pool and connected them! PC 1.5" upgrade, removed the small jets intake and out take with the screwed in eyeballs and intake, added a skimmer into the pool wall and Voila --> HUGE FANTASTIC difference!

The little eyeball jet though (two of them) are kind of "so-so"... found RunaboutDan elongated Venturi... even if can be better angled and has a hole for a small diameter pipe to introduce air into the jet, it was still restricted... bummer... so I used OnShape and opened up the inside of it to remove the narrowing (https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/pool-jet-extended-wide-mouth?source=22) then I worked on it all afternoon and was able to get a "wide mouth" rather than the small opening sending water only in one narrow direction and widen it up like a "loud speaker" by creating a wider dispersion area to reach both the bottom and the top and keeping the small hole to introduce air..!

I printed my first one, which looked fantastic at the exception of a "tiny" problem... I found out WHY nobody had done it before..! (CRAP!)... so I went back in and search for OnShape Tutorial on how to pre-assemble the eyeball ring prior printing and found what I was looking for.... so HERE IT IS, THE FIRST WIDE MOUTH POOL JET ! But it needs to be printed with the ring already on it (with supports) then can be broken free to fit on the jet!
