Inspired by the creations of the user "kaizen3dprints" on Instagram ( https://www.instagram.com/kaizen3dprints/?hl=fr ) , which captures between two layers of a print a piece of fabric (such as "polymesh fabric") to obtain magnificent pieces of textile to create hats and clothing

I used his technique to allow me to create a "Kaleidocycle" also called "flextangle" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaleidocycle )

To make this object you will therefore need a piece of fabric having a low thickness (avoid a braided net with knots but rather a fabric whose fibers are heat welded) and prefer a mesh material, which can withstand a minimum of heat.

Here I used a piece of “anti-insect veil” (25 g/m², 100% Polyester) found at a supermarket in the gardening section.

You will therefore need to slice this model with a layer height of 0.2 mm, insert a pause command between the initial layer and the second layer, to during this pause arrange and fix the piece of fabric above the initial layer. In order to resume, printing continues by capturing the piece of fabric between the initial layer and the second layer.

Here I used a flexible plate with a "PEY Circle" coating in order to obtain rainbow reflections on the surface of the printed layer in contact with the plate.

After waiting for the plate to return to room temperature to facilitate detachment of the print, cut the excess fabric, fold, and glue to obtain the final object.
