Design Concept:

I was tired of the Kitchen Aid attachments not having a home and putting screws in the wall worked worked but only so well. I decided I want to mount them cleanly under neath my cabinets next to my mixer. The idea was simple, make a replica of the mixer mount and make an attachable plate. I made this one to have a slight tolerance allowing little movement incase it gets bumped so the mount doesn’t snap.

Design Info:

I have printed on PLA, PETG, ASA

I ended up using the PLA to mount as the filament I used is rated NSF(food safe) and the PETG seemed to break easily. I made the design as simple and structurally sound as I could. There are two small inset screw holes for mounting. I used standard cabinet screws course thread self-start around 10mm long.

Assembly:

Attach your Kitchen aid or mixer attachment as you would on the mixer itself.

Place under cabinet and mark your mounting position.

(I recommend checking the distances by turning the attachment 90°. This will ensure you aren’t hitting the wall or the attachment next to it.

Recommend pre-drilling holes but it is not always necessary.

Screw the mount up and attach your attachments.
