Modular Base Frame for Transparent Shoe Boxes with Magnetic Closure

I designed this modular base frame for transparent, stackable plastic shoe boxes / storage boxes with magnetic closure, purchased via Temu.

The frame allows the boxes to be securely positioned and prevents them from tipping over.
The boxes are inserted into the frame and stand stable next to each other.

Design & Modularity

The system is fully modular and consists of multiple individual parts.
It can be used in a minimal setup or expanded as needed.

🔹 Base Frame (basic version)

Holds two shoe boxes side by side

Prevents tipping

Can be used on its own

Suitable for stacking additional boxes on top

🔹 Support Legs (optional)

Side support legs raise the frame about 11 cm above the floor

Improved stability and easier cleaning

🔹 Angle Reinforcement (optional)

Additional angle brackets for extra rigidity

Recommended for higher or heavier stacks

For my use case, the base frame with two boxes is sufficient to stack more boxes above.
However, the system can easily be expanded or customized.

Fasteners & Hardware

The construction is screw-mounted and uses heat-set brass threaded inserts.

Part Variants

All parts are provided in two versions:
