Design Concept

This Powercon Link Thru with 16a Breakout Box is designed for efficient power distribution in show setups that require multiple breakouts. Initially designed for a ground package touring lighting rig - it aims to simplify complex power routing on a show/installation.

Purpose

Ideal for use in event setups or complex wiring environments requiring organized power distribution. It's especially useful for audio-visual technicians and event managers who need reliable power solutions.

Printing Tips

For optimal strength, print with 5-10% infill using a material like PLA+/PETG for its temperature resistance and durability. Supports are necessary for some overhanging areas, and a layer height of 0.25mm can provide good detail with reasonable print times.

You will need

- 1x 16a Connector

- 2x Neutrik Power-con D-series Connectors (1x of each)

- 4x M3 Threaded Inserts (For the Power-Con Connectors)

- 4x M4 Threaded Inserts (For the 16a Connector)

- 4x 10mm M3 Bolts (For the Power-Con Connectors)

- 4x 16mm M4 Bolts (For the 16a Connector)

Assembly Instructions

After printing, carefully remove any supports, ensuring the connectors fit tightly. Secure connections using bolts in the provided slots using heat mounted threaded inserts.

1. Print!

2. Remove Supports.

3. Mount threaded inserts with a hot Soldering Iron (M4 for 16a Breakout, M3 for Power-Con Ports)

4. Wire up Power-con and insert them with bolts.

5. Pass Cables up to 16a Breakout hole and wire them up.

6. Insert 16a Breakout with the M4 Bolts.

- (OPTIONAL) Add asset/property/business label into the included square label dish :)

7. Complete! Test connections with a multi-meter first, just to be sure polarity is all correct, then give it a proper test!
