I needed to replace the stays on this old chest because we lost some of the parts in a move.

I separated this file into its components and designed a snap rivet to attach the parts. Printed in Carbon Fiber PLA for strength. (Important to use a strong plastic for durability).

You will need to rotate "hinge rivet inner" and "hinge rivet outer" 90 degrees and print on their sides with support enabled in order to keep from sheering the pins at the layer lines (see attached 3mf).

print 3x "hinge rivet inner"; 2x "hinge rivet outer" and one of everything else per side (so double to support both sides). The side mount has in outer hinge rivet encapsulated in the part.

For reference: I mounted the center of the hole for the side mount 1 3/4" from the top and 6 3/4" from the back of the chest, and mounted the center of the hole for the top mount 5 1/2" from the back of the lid to achieve a 90 degree opening. Total length of the extended arm from hole to hole is approximately 11".
